Erin is a speech-language pathologist, who has been practicing since 2015. She has experience treating a variety of disorders in regards to swallowing, cognition, speech, and language. She has worked in a variety of settings, including: school systems, outpatient clinics, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living, which has aided her in gaining experience and knowledge with different patient populations. She is a firm believer in neuro-diversity affirming therapy practices, and therefore she utilizes client-directed, play-based therapeutic interventions to address and improve functional communication, as well as improve relationships between the client and their friends, family, peers, and community. She believes therapy should be engaging and empowering, and therefore, she practices patient-centered care. She structures all assessment and treatment around the goals of the client. Erin began her private practice in 2023 in order to better serve her community and offer a more-improved quality of care to her clients.
She holds certifications and/or regularly participates in trainings with SOS approach to feeding, infant feeding, AMP care for dysphagia, DIR Floortime, AAC (LAMP Words for Life), and ADOS assessment for autism.
